The Boya BY-BM3032 is a versatile directional microphone designed specifically for use with DSLR cameras, camcorders and audio recorders. This microphone is ideal for general sound recording and offers high reliability thanks to its high-quality plastic housing and integrated shock absorber. The shock absorber minimises unwanted vibrations and background noise, resulting in clearer recordings.
During recording, you can choose between three sound levels: +20dB for amplifying soft sounds, 0dB for normal recordings and -10dB to avoid clipping on loud sounds. The BY-BM3032 also has a low-pass filter that filters out low-frequency noises. The filter can be set to 0Hz, 75Hz or 150Hz, and it is possible to increase the high frequencies by 5dB. These settings give you flexible adjustment options to optimise the sound quality in different recording situations.
The microphone is powered by two AA batteries that provide up to 30 hours of battery life. It can be easily attached to your camera via the 1/4" threaded connection or the hotshoe. A 3.5 mm output cable is included to connect the microphone to your camera. The automatic on/off function makes handling easier, especially if the microphone remains permanently connected to the camera. This function is activated or deactivated by pressing and holding the power switch and prevents the microphone from being accidentally left switched on when not in use.
The BY-BM3032 comes with a windscreen that minimises background noise such as wind noise, allowing the microphone to be used effectively in different environments. The set also includes a protective bag for safe storage and a complete manual explaining all functions and settings.
