The Boya BY-MM1 Pro is a professional shotgun directional microphone that is ideal for versatile audio recording. Equipped with two microphones, it allows simultaneous recording of sound from both the front and the rear, which is particularly useful for interviews as both the interviewer and the interviewee can be recorded without the need to pan the microphone. Thanks to the Rycote®Lyre® shock mount, unwanted vibrations and noise are minimised so that your recordings remain clear and free of interference.
The housing of the BY-MM1 Pro is mainly made of aluminium, making it durable and lightweight. With a weight of only 67.5 grams and a compact size of Ø22 * 84 mm, the microphone is easy to transport and handle. The microphone uses phantom power provided by the connected device, so no additional batteries are required. This ensures an uncomplicated solution that is always ready for use.
The BY-MM1 Pro works with all common audio and video recording devices. With the practical switch, you can specify whether the microphone should work with TRS (for cameras, camcorders, PCs) or TRRS (for smartphones and tablets). The microphone also has an additional 3.5 mm connection for headphones so that you can listen to your recordings during playback.
