The BY-XM6-S1 Mini from Boya is a compact and wireless microphone set that offers you a quick and easy way to create high-quality audio recordings with your iPhone or iPad. As cables and batteries are not required during recording, the BY-XM6-S1 Mini is ready to use immediately. The transmitter with built-in microphone is simply clipped to the clothing of the person being recorded and the built-in rechargeable battery provides power for up to six hours of recording time. The sound is recorded via the receiver, which is connected to the Lightning port of your Apple device, and is immediately compatible with both audio and video applications.
In practice, the BY-XM6-S1 Mini offers a range of up to 100 metres in the open field and guarantees a stable connection thanks to the reliable 2.4 GHz frequency. The connection remains stable even indoors or in places with a lot of radio signals. The transmitter has a mute button and a socket for headphones so that you can monitor the sound recording and adjust the amplification. Three gain levels are available to optimise the sensitivity of the microphone. The omnidirectional microphone picks up all speech sounds clearly and distinctly, regardless of the volume of the person speaking.
The BY-XM6-S1 Mini is MFi-certified and therefore 100% compatible with iPhone and iPad. The indicator lights on the transmitter and receiver show the current status at a glance. A windscreen is included in the scope of delivery for outdoor recordings, which effectively minimises wind noise. All components can be safely transported in the supplied leather bag, so you can take your set with you wherever you go.
